Day by Day Itinerary
THURSDAY: ATHENS
Upon arrival, you will be received and transferred to the selected hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Drive through the spectacular sites at the fertile plain of Boeotia, crossing the towns of Thebes, Levadia and arrive at Arachova. Then at the Delphi located on the slopes of the breathtaking Mount Parnassus. Delphi was the centre of the Ancient World – the “Omphalos” (Navel of Earth) – whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World.
On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios.
Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Dinner and overnight.
SATURDAY: METEORA – ATHENS

Meteora is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece, second only to Mount Athos. Among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art.
The six monasteries are built on natural sandstone rock pillars, at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly near the Pineios river and the Pindus Mountains, in central Greece.
The Meteora is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae (visit Leonida’s monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening and transfer to your hotel.

This tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our knowledgeable guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop).
Continue past the Prime Minister’s residence (former Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Arch of Hadrian, the Parliament and the monument to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, Constitution Square (Syntagma). At the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the golden age of Athens: the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “brings order to the mind”, the Parthenon.
The tour will end by visiting the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum, “state of the art” in museum construction and very rich in content.
Free afternoon to visit the ancient city of Athens (Plaka) with many restaurants, taverns and souvenir shops
MONDAY: ATHENS – MYKONOS (6 hours on the island)

At the scheduled time, transfer to the port of Piraeus to board the Miray company cruise
Cruises, 4 nights through the Greek islands and Turkey of the company, leaving at 1:00 p.m.
hours. Mykonos is known around the world as the Ibiza of the Aegean, the most popular destination of the Mediterranean. An international “jet set” known for its beautiful sandy beaches, hundreds of tiny white chapels and incredible nightlife. Stroll around the streets of the capital are considered the most beautiful of the Greek islands and enjoy the great nightlife. It’s easy to get lost in its maze of gleaming white walls dotted with blue domes and windows and balconies full of flowers. Have a coffee or a cocktail in one of the famous bars and promise to return for a longer stay and more experiences.
Departure after midnight.

In the morning, arrive at the fantastic island of Santorini, the site of the beautiful postcard landscapes
and the blue-domed churches. One of the jewels of the small volcanic archipelagos’ five islands is undoubtedly Santorini. Santorini was created due to a volcanic eruption culminating in the explosion of a volcano caldera, therefore, its rugged landscapes are dotted with huge cliffs.
Santorini’s capital, Fira, with white-washed houses, narrow streets and open-air cafes that cling to a steep cliff, is at the top of the beautiful island where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. Discover Santorini villages that retain their authenticity, with beautiful blue and white buildings and barren volcanic rocks. It is a very fascinating and picturesque island. A magical place that has nothing to do with the rest of the Greek islands, a place to spread the peaceful and hospitable nature of its people.
Not to miss the sunset from the Caldera nor the Greek and Mediterranean food in the island’s restaurants and taverns.
WEDNESDAY: RHODES (13 hours on the island)

In the morning arrive in Rhodes, also known as the island of Rosas. Situated in the southeast part of the Mediterranean Sea, Rhodes is a highly tourist-oriented place, offering its visitors a combination of great history, marvellous beaches, a variety of great night spots and fascinating duty-free shopping. Above all, you should not miss the opportunity to visit the Old Medieval town and the Castle of the Knights.
Rhodes was famous worldwide for the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Historical sites on the island of Rhodes include also the Acropolis of Lindos, the Acropolis of Rhodes with the Temple of Pythian Apollo and an ancient theatre and stadium, ancient Ialysos, ancient Kamiros, Kahal Shalom Synagogue in the Jewish Quarter, the Archaeological Museum, the ruins of the castle of Monolithos, the castle of Kritinia, St. Catherine Hospice and Rhodes Footbridge.

The ship dawns in Cesme, Turkey. A small port city full of natural beauty and vibrant history, marked by the various wars of the past. Another highlight of this place is the optional tour to Ephesus, the ancient city of Artemis and a must-see archaeological site.
FRIDAY: PIRAEUS – ATHENS (Arrival at 07:00 a.m.)

After breakfast on board, disembark and transfer to the airport to take your flight back.
